Aside from my rant, Nike has dropped a new women's High model which features a patent leather Raspberry Cream swoosh on top of a solid White leather upper. Casio brought back this digital time piece the Retro Data Bank Watch, which still feature much of the same look it did back in the early 80's. Watch the fuck out SoleBox, Kix-Files is taking over! They seem to have ALL the kicks I don't see anywhere else. These sneakers are the product of a new collaboration between Adidas, Hong Kong's toy brand Threezero, and toys designer Eric So. They revamped the Gilbert Arenas signature shoes, and smacked another name on them "Lightswitch Gil". The shoes can only be found in Hong Kong which is limited to 300 pair, and some retailers in the States.

New Balance is scheduled to drop a Spy vs. Spy inspired version of the MT580 sneaker in April. The classic 1961 Comic strip inspired shoe will come in two colors, black and white (As if it weren't commonsense) with each featuring a striped lining on the tongue. Puma is set to release another YO! MTV Rap Series, this time they will use the first round silhouette for the series of colorways. The shoes will of course feature the loud colors, and designs, in remembrance of the straight 80's, with hot pink, and highlight yellow laces. Soy Clothing will be dropping their Spring/Summer 2008 'Don't Believe the Hype' line the first week of April. This season the label stays true to their brand, delivering message-based designs. They also have a “Respect” design featuring Audrey Hepburn and text that reads “SHOW SUM CL**” with “respect” overlaid on top. It seems to me, some streetwear labels are taking a step away from the creative aspect of designing, into letting other labels or the overall scene know their feelings and views on the changing market. Here is the new Spring 2008 collection from one of the biggest womens street wear labels on the scene. The girls collabed with Party photo-shooter Cobra Snake to of course 'Shoot', and one of my favorites on the UK scene UFFIE to display. One of the Tees in this spring drop was a collaboration between artist Fafi and MOB. The MOBed out Fafinettecomes complete with a Birkin Hermes bag, Chanel pumps and a lip tattoo onher thigh.
